About
It takes about 8 minutes to reach Senjojiki Station, at an altitude of 2,612 m, from Shirabidaira Station, which is at 1,662 m. The height difference is 950 m, the highest in Japan. As you go down the ropeway, you can enjoy the view of the Southern Alps, Mt. Fuji and the Senjojiki Circle, dotted with alpine flowers in summer. Because of the restrictions on private vehicles, you must leave the car at the parking lot and get to the ropeway station by bus.
